All Points Broadband begins connecting customers to Northern Neck Regional Fiber Broadband Network

WARSAW—All Points Broadband, Northern Neck Electric Cooperative (NNEC), Dominion Energy Virginia, Richmond County, the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development and the Northern Neck Planning District Commission (NNPDC) on Tuesday, June 21, celebrated the initial launch of fiber- to-the-home broadband service to select locations in Richmond County that are part of the broader Northern Neck Broadband Initiative.

Over the next few weeks service will be made available at select locations in central Richmond County so that All Points can test the network and service delivery before expanding to additional areas.

The initial “beta” connections that are now being made are the first locations to be offered service on the regional network being constructed to offer service to all unserved locations in King George, Westmoreland, Richmond, Northumberland, and Lancaster counties.
