Northampton and West Point, which both finished as Class 1 state semifinalists, led the list of honorees on the All-Region 1A soccer team.
West Point had six players and Northampton five named to the region’s first team. Junior midfielder Sebastian Mayorga of Northampton was chosen as the region’s player of the year and filled a spot on the first team.

Northern Neck District Rappahannock placed four on the first team including senior forward Luke Bystryk, senior midfielder Juan Dominguez, junior defender Chase Williams and junior goalkeeper Keighlyn Setzer.
Junior Porter Pittman was the only Lancaster player to receive an all-region nod. Pittman, who started at midfield for the Red Devils, scored four goals and had six assists this season.
Others named to the first team were Northampton junior forward Luke Jones, senior midfielder Thomas Dix, senior defender Jose Palacio, junior defender Gaige Kellogg and Mayorga; West Point sophomore forward Luke Bystryk, senior forward Curtis Shannon, senior midfielder Pearson Chapman, sophomore midfielder Eli Ellwanger, senior defender Daniel Gibbs and junior defender Miseal Leon-Hernandez; and Mathews sophomore Sal Cardenas.
Second team selections were Mathews sophomore forwards Stanley Oma and Henry Sowers, senior midfielder Seth James and freshman defender Elton Hudgins; Rappahannock senior forward Alexis Godinez, senior midfielder Seth James and freshman defender Elton Hudgins; Northampton senior forwards Martin Montalvo and Manuel Montalvo; Westmoreland senior midfielder Isaac Esmacher and junior defender Jesaias Perez-Navarro; West Point junior midfielder Tyler Ebersol; King & Queen freshman goalkeeper Will Garcia; and Middlesex senior midfielder Wyatt St. Louis.
