The Rivah’s annual “Local Angel Tree Project” is now underway for the sixth consecutive year to help local seniors, disabled adults and children in need during the holidays. Angels have been collected from Visiting Angels, Kilmarnock United Methodist Church, Twin Branch Wellness & Recovery and Lancaster County Public Schools (LCPS).
Last year customers of The Rivah donated over 100 gift bags plus over $1,250 which The Rivah matched dollar for dollar. Owner Emily Ficklin Hoar plans to do the same this year. “It was such a heartwarming experience and we are excited to grow it even larger this….
