IRVINGTON—Anita Douglas Whay, 81, of Irvington passed away on June 29, 2017. She was the widow of Robert Earl Whay Jr.
She was bookkeeper for TCH Oil Company in Irvington and a member of Claybrook Baptist Church and White Stone Methodist Church in her younger years.
Mrs. Whay is survived by her two sons, Randy Earl Whay and Victor L. Whay, both of Irvington; two granddaughters, Samantha Lynn Whay and Natalie Elizabeth Whay, both of Fredericksburg; and one sister, Mary Esther Eanes of White Stone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Augustus Randolph “Ranny” Douglas and Virgie Self Douglas; her brother, Augustus Randolph “Buddy” Douglas; and her sister, Norma Louise Eanes.
Funeral services were private.
