The 53 annual Blessing of the Fleet will be held Sunday, May 4, at the old Morris-Fisher Factory Tall Stack on the Omega Protein Property, 610 Menhaden Road, Reedville. Boats that wish to participate in the boat parade will meet at the mouth of Cockrell Creek and the Great Wicomico River at 3 p.m.
The boat parade will begin at 3:30 p.m. The service will begin at 4 p.m. Come by boat, or bring a lawn chair. The speaker will be local historian Dr. Emory Lewis.
