HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Anti-Litter Committee is seeking new members and volunteers to support and implement its 2025-26 action plan.
Specifically, the committee needs to replace vacancies in Districts 1 and 5, but volunteers are also welcome, reported member Glenda Lowery. The plan:
• Promotes the cause of a clean county culture through education and publicity.
• Includes a tire amnesty/recycling collection event.
• Encourages litter clean-ups.
• Explores ways to partner with the school system….
