Artist Alvaro Ibañez on June 27 and 28 will unveil a new collection of his paintings at his studio at 199 Whittaker Lane near Hughlett Point. A variety of free indoor and outdoor events for small groups will be open to the public.
“We plan some special events for writers,” said the artist’s wife, Denise DeVries. Now a part of Virginia’s Artisans Trail, the gallery can also be seen by appointment.
