The Heathsville Farmers Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. September 16 at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville.
As part of the market, artists will set up their easels in a field to paint market scenes, reported manager Corinne Becker.
The market offers produce, meat, goat cheese, eggs, oysters, bread and baked goods, gourmet soups, flowers, nursery plants and artisan handcrafts. There are new vendors at every market, said Becker.
The “Heritage Arts Center” gift shoppe and the Tavern Café will be open. Shoppers also will find locally-made artisan wares for sale, as well as active artist studios.
