White Stone United Methodist Church, 118 Methodist Church Road, White Stone, will have flowering of the cross as part of the Easter service at 11 a.m. Sunday, April 9.
All members and guests are invited to participate. During the service, pause by the cross and add flowers from a garden or add flowers provided from the basket below the cross to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.
Add a flower in Irvington
Irvington United Methodist Church invites all who wish to participate to add a flower or greenery to the cross in the front yard. On Easter morning Sunday, April 9, flowering the cross will take place at 26 King Carter Drive, Irvington.
The cross is covered in chicken wire so it is easy to pin a flower or greenery. Flowers and greenery may be pinned before or after Easter service.
