Wes Charlton of Dunton, Simmons & Dunton LLP recently was honored by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star, an honor accorded only a small percentage of attorneys under age 40.
Charlton primarily focuses his practice on trusts and estates, civil litigation, corporate law and land use/real estate. He also serves as town attorney for Irvington.
Charlton earned his J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law, magna cum laude, a bachelor’s in literary and cultural studies from the College of William & Mary and graduated high school with honors from Christchurch School.
During law school, he clerked for the Hon. Harry T. Taliaferro, III, presiding judge of the 15th Judicial Circuit.
He and his wife, Charlotte, and their three children, Nora, Isaac and Penn, live in White Stone.
