Steamboat Era Museum, 156 King Carter Drive, Irvington, Second Saturday Speaker Series will continue February 8 with a virtual lecture by author Jack Shaum. He will discuss his book 122 Years on the Old Bay Line.
Shaum will bring alive the stories of those magnificent vessels that sailed under the Old Bay Line flag, reported manager Candee Pevahouse.
Shaum is a retired award-winning print and broadcast journalist who spent nearly 50 years in the business. He is the author of Lost Chester River Steamboats: From Chestertown to Baltimore, co-author of Majesty at Sea and co-author and co-editor of Night Boat on the Potomac.
