On Tuesday, November 30, the Ambassador to the U.S. from the Bahamas, His Excellency Sidney Collie, visited Northumberland High School. He was accompanied by Ronique Brown, economic attache to the Bahamian Embassy.
The purpose of his visit was to thank NHS students for their continued support of the Bahamas through their ongoing computer donations via the Virginia Student Training and Refurbishment Program (VA STAR). Many thanks go to Jay Lightfoot, NHS’s computer information systems (CIS) instructor, who was responsible for this much anticipated visit.
