Belle Isle State Park education support specialist Rachel Howell recently posted the September event calendar.
All activities will be held at Belle Isle State Park, 1632 Belle Isle Road, Lancaster. A $5 parking fee is payable at the park entrance.
Today, September 10, the Walk on the Wild Side theme will be Nature Photo Walk-Tips & Tricks.
Park volunteers and members of the Northern Neck Master Naturalists will lead a leisurely 2-mile walk from 9-11 a.m. Walkers will meet at the Camp Store. Wear closed-toe shoes and dress for forecasted weather. Pre-registration is requested, call 462-5030.
From 2-4 p.m. Fridays, the Lancaster Community Library Bookmobile will visit the Campground Overflow Parking Area. Folks may checkout and return books, access free Wi-Fi and sign up for a library card. Non residents may participate.
