Best of summer produce expected for Irvington Farmers Market on August 5

The Irvington Farmers Market will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. August 5 at the Irvington Commons, 98 King Carter Drive, Irvington.

The market, sponsored by the Village Improvement Association, will feature a peak summer harvest of tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, melons, corn, zucchini, peppers, eggplant and peaches.

Flowers, plants, beef, wine, vinegar, chutney, honey and pepper jelly varieties also will be available, said Heather Sheehan, co-manager of the market. Baked goods such as baguettes, croissants and sourdough….
