MIDDLESEX—Betsy Simmons Sparshott, 72, of Middlesex, formerly of Kilmarnock, passed away October 30, 2021. She was a retired nursing home activities director.
She is survived by her son, Jason Sparshott (Rachel) of Williamsburg; four grandchildren, Cooper Sparshott, Joely Sparshott, Caleb O’Connor and Jackson O’Connor; two brothers, Cundiff Simmons (Ellen) of Kilmarnock and George “Porgie” Simmons (Michelle) of Kilmarnock; her niece and goddaughter, Jennifer Simmons Aericko of Hampton and her dog, Pumpkin.
She loved horses, collecting jewelry, singing, art and music.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 13, at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
