The Northern Neck Audubon Society (NNAS) on February 13 will conduct a bird walk at Vir-Mar Beach in Northumberland County.
This small beach offers an excellent vista at the confluence of the Potomac River and the Chesapeake Bay, reported publicity chairman Maggie Gerdts. At this time of year there may be large concentrations of wintering waterfowl.
