The Heathsville Farmers Market will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, October 16, at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlet’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville. The public is invited to bring their pets for a “Blessing of the Animals” ceremony at 10 a.m. courtesy of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.
The cornerstone of “Make it a Heathsville Saturday” activities, the market offers produce, pickles, bread, baked goods, gourmet peanuts, barbecue sauce, pasture-raised pork and artisan handcrafts.
