Speed, sweat and cheers
The Fairfields Volunteer Fire Department’s annual Pig Pickin’ On The Point and Extreme Boat Docking Contest on Saturday, June 6, at Buzzard Point Marina in Fairport attracted its largest crowd ever. More than 1,000 spectators watched the afternoon competition from shore, aboard docked boats at the marina and anchored vessels off Cockrell Creek.
