The Northern Neck Sail & Power Squadron (NNSPS) recently announced several upcoming classes for January 2025.
The ABC basic boating course will be held from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. January 11 and 18. The fee is $25 and will include use of a Boating Skills Virtual Trainer, Vessel Safety Check and an on the water session on the participant’s boat with a NNSPS instructor, if desired.
Participants must attend both sessions to receive a Virginia Boater Certification Card, which will be issued at the close of the second session, reported public relations chairman Lt. Anthony K. Cavallaro. The fee is reduced through a grant from The Henry Sweet Trust.
