The annual Fr. John Boddie Memorial Golf Classic will be held May 10 at the Piankatank River Golf Club in Hartfield.
This event, hosted by the Catholic Church of the Visitation, Topping, is a four-player captain’s choice competition open to all, reported tournament director Gary Richardson. Team prizes will be awarded in each of three flights. Golfers also will compete for individual prizes.
The $80 per person entry fee will cover use of the practice range, golf cart rental, greens fee, on-course beverages and dinner in the Steamboat Restaurant.
Proceeds are shared equally among charities and the church’s capital fund, said Richardson.
