The Bookshelf, Irvington, invites all book and garden lovers to attend an author event and signing at 5 p.m. July 29 at The Steamboat Era Museum, 156 King Carter Drive, Irvington.
Baltimore-based author Jane Delury will visit Irvington to talk about her newly-released book, Hedge, which includes a storyline of historic garden restoration, a complex tangle of family relationships and an unforgettable portrait of a woman’s longing to be a good mother while still answering the call of her soul and mind, reported owner and chief bookseller Lisa McLaughlin.
