On March 18, The Bookworms attended the second annual Camp Read-A-Lot at the Lancaster Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC). Bookworms board members Josh Long, Loretta Thrower and Kathy Pittman had a large selection of books and each child was able to select a book of their choice to take home for their personal library.
The mission of The Bookworms is to promote literacy and give the students of the ECEC a head start creating their at home library.
