The Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck recently announced Youth of the Month winners, Shenell Grimes, Dakarai Walters and Kamryn Veney.
Grimes, 10, loves attending the Boys & Girls Club. She says that when she grows up, she wants to be a doctor because she loves helping people.
Some of her interests include praise dancing and singing in the choir at her church, cooking and listening to music.
Her favorite thing about coming to the club is the Young Chefs program, said Grimes. She takes all the tips and tricks that are learned in the kitchen at the Club and applies them at home….
