Broadband authority notes survey success

LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Broadband Authority received a great response to its recent survey, reported chairman Cassie Thompson.

“We appreciate your interest, your comments and you taking the time to respond,” said Thompson. “We will provide information on the survey analysis, once completed, at a public meeting, the date to be determined.”

Thompson also reminded the public of a Tuesday, September 3, meeting with Rep. Rob Wittman, Virginia’s chief broadband advisor Evan Feinman and deputy chief broadband advisor Courtney Dozier. The “field hearing” will be held at 9 a.m. at Lancaster Community Library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.

“Come and engage with Feinman and Dozier to learn about efforts to bring broadband to unserved and underserved areas,” said Thompson.
