Mike Bryant was elected president of Northumberland–Lancaster County Farm Bureau during the organization’s July 11 annual meeting. He will serve a one-year term.
Bryant reviewed a few of the county Farm Bureau’s projects and accomplishments during 2016 and 2017, including the annual VFBF convention, Northern Neck Land Conservancy Boots & BBQ, annual Appreciation Day, Chesapeake Bay Seafood Festival, Farm & Field Day and St. Stephen’s Strawberry Festival.
More than 150 members attended the meeting to elect officers and directors and to adopt resolutions of local, state and national interest, reported member service specialist Victoria Fisher.
