The Rappahannock Art League Studio Gallery will be closed for renovations July 29 through August 27 and will reopen as the RAL Art Center with the annual Labor Day Show on August 30.
RAL is adopting a new name, RAL Art Center, a new logo and a fresh new look at 19 North Main Street, Kilmarnock, reported president Barry Beswick. RAL’s “Refresh Reveal” will kick off the first of many planned innovations with the Labor Day Show.
RAL is building off the organization’s 68-year legacy in visual arts by reaching out and encouraging greater community involvement, said Beswick.
“The visual arts are a language common to every living human being,” he said.
