HEATHSVILLE—If Northumberland County supervisors decide to fund the proposed 2019-20 budget “as is,” it will mean a $.06 increase in the current real estate tax rate.
County administrator Luttrell Tadlock last Thursday presented the board a draft $42.9 million budget which includes an increase of more than $2.5 million over the current fiscal year.
Supervisors have set a public hearing on the budget at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 9, in the County Courts Building, 220 Judicial Place, Heathsville. No action was taken after Tadlock presented…
