The Kilmarnock & District Pipe Band has cancelled its April 25 “Burns Afternoon Tribute.”
The event has been cancelled due to very low ticket sales and to scheduling conflicts, reported pipe major William Harrison. The event was originally scheduled for January 25 and had to be postponed twice due to weather conditions.
“We apologize for any inconvenience the cancellation may cause, and we look forward to offering performances and events in the near future,” said Harrison.
Ticket holders can be reimbursed by calling John at 577-3349.
