HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland board of supervisors on Thursday, November 14, voted 3-2 to move forward with the construction of a new ambulance garage for the county EMS crew.
Board members Ronnie Jett, Richard Haynie and Joe Self voted to accept a $38,476 proposal from NTC Contractors to pour the concrete foundation of the building, and passed a separate motion to accept a $4,087 proposal from Turner’s Service Co. to install the plumbing for the garage.
