Starting Sunday, May 27, Campbell Memorial Presbyterian Church, 3712 Weems Road, Weems will offer its 9 a.m. Praise services outdoors at the playground, across the street from the sanctuary.
According to Monica Fahey, who has spearheaded the outdoor effort, Campbell is one of few mainline Protestant churches in the area offering a contemporary worship service and welcomes people on bicycles or skateboards, with walkers, canes, strollers, children, dogs and lawn chairs or quilts in tow.
