Candyland trail leads to Halloween

Future waterman Brooks Hall arrived at Candyland Saturday, October 26, via the Tammy Sue. Lancaster by the Bay Chamber of Commerce executive director Leslie Jingluski reported a wonderful event! The Chamber sponsored the event with the Town of Kilmarnock and Bon Secours Rappahannock General Hospital at Town Centre Park. Some 25 vendors handed out candy to over 1,500 kids. Jingluski thanked everyone who participated, including White Stone Church of the Nazarene, White Stone United Methodist Church, Virginia Cooperative Extension, Lancaster Community Library and Kilmarnock Dairy Queen for providing fun activities for families to enjoy; and to Two Rivers Communications for the festive music.
