The Cantori Choral Ensemble recently announced a special summer concert to celebrate the re-emergence of live choral performance. The concert will be presented at 5 p.m. August 22 at Walnut Hills Baptist Church, 1014 Jamestown Road, Williamsburg.
A “Red, Red Rose” will feature poetry about the rose by Christina Rossetti, Robert Burns and Rainer Maria Rilke set to music by such contemporary composers as Ola Gjeilo, Morten Lauridsen and Eriks Esenvalds, reported Agnes French.
