Christmas CD to support historical societies

Susan Anthony-Tolbert’s newest release, “Rappahannock River Christmas: Tides of Joy and Peace for My Harp,” celebrates the season, the river and its history. Proceeds will benefit the Northumberland County Historical Society and at the Lancaster Virginia Historical Society.

Although the harp is certainly the focus of the recording, marimba and bowed psaltery were also played to contribute to traditions and locale, said Anthony-Tolbert.
