Decorate those golf carts and head to Reedville for the Reedville Fishermen’s Museum (RFM) golf cart parade and competition to Celebrate Reedville’s 150th anniversary and Independence Day. The event will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, July 5, along Main Street.
There’s a $10 entry fee per cart and prizes will be awarded for first place in creativity, overall theme and community spirit. Drivers and riders in costume and carts with music will earn bonus points, reported executive director Shauna McCranie.
Golf carts should be decorated in a theme associated with the Reedville Community 150th anniversary or the July 4th celebration.
