Celebrate Virginia Dog Show Cluster begins today at The Meadow Event Park

The Northern Neck Kennel Club (NNKC) will host two back-to-back American Kennel Club (AKC) certified dog shows for conformation championship titles at the Virginia Farm Bureau Building, The Meadow Event Park, 13191 Dawn Boulevard, Doswell. The shows will begin at 8 a.m. Thursday, August 24, and Friday, August 25.

A guided dog show tour is available at 10 a.m. Thursday. There is no admission charge for spectators and on-site parking is $5 per car.

As the NNKC’s annual fundraiser, the Celebrate Virginia Dog Show Cluster is a partnership between NNKC and the Greater Fredericksburg Kennel Club (GFKC), whose shows follow the NNKC events.

The Virginia Celebrates Dog Show Cluster showcases hundreds of the most acclaimed and aspiring dogs from around the country.

The shows provide an opportunity for the nearly 200 AKC registered dog breeds to be recognized. Accredited AKC judges score the….
