Celebrating faith and patriotism

On Sunday, June 29, White Stone Methodist Church honored both faith and country with a special Procession of the Flags ceremony. The congregation recited the Pledge of Allegiance, the Pledge to the Christian Flag and the Pledge to the Bible reaffirming their commitment to God and country, reported Frances Stoughton.

A touching part of the service also included the Blessing of the Shawls. These handcrafted….
