Celtic Service to focus on ancient Ostara tradition

Grace Episcopal Church, 303 South Main Street Kilmarnock, will hold a Celtic Service at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, March 8.

The service will highlight the ancient Celtic Ostara tradition, reported Laurie Rowe. In the Celtic wheel of the year, Ostara is the threshold at the beginning of spring. It occurs at the equinox when the earth is again experiencing a balance between daylight and darkness. The earth slowly awakens with returning light.
