The Lancaster by the Bay Chamber recently announced “A Story Book Christmas” will be the theme for the 39th annual Christmas parade on December 8.
“We think this fun theme will help inspire some creative entries,” said executive director Anne Paparella.
The lighted parade will start at 7 p.m. and march from the Chesapeake Commons Shopping Center, 463 North Main Street, Kilmarnock and continue along Kilmarnock’s Main Street through the Steptoe’s District to Irvington Road, then right on School Street, ending at Lancaster Middle School, said Paparella. The parade will last approximately one hour.
