Chamber series to feature Schubert octet March 30

The Northern Neck Orchestra (NNO) Chamber Series will conclude its season with Franz Schubert’s virtuoso Octet in F major, a sublime masterpiece for mixed strings and winds that is filled with warmth, joy and hope.

The concert will be held at 2 p.m. March 30 at Good Luck Cellars, 1025 Goodluck Road, Kilmarnock It will be performed by Moises Cunha and Nusheen Farahani, violin; Jane Lenz, viola; Lee Richey, cello; Sam Zagnit, double bass; Zachary Good, clarinet; Lauren Hunt, horn; and Michael Matushek, bassoon.

Tickets are $35 and may be purchased at www.northernneckorchestra.org or at the door. Students are admitted free with an online reservation.
