LANCASTER—It wasn’t even a full moon and the lower Northern Neck experienced more than its typical share of chaos Monday evening with a couple’s shenanigans at two area banks and a blackout.
A search continues for a white male and female who cashed fraudulent checks at the Sonabank branch in Heathsville.
After the two suspects cashed the fraudulent checks in Heathsville, bank officials there alerted banks in the Kilmarnock area, reported Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie.
