KILMARNOCK—Charlotte Estelle Sampson Mozingo, 102, of Kilmarnock passed away peacefully July 21, 2022. She was the daughter of Pearl and Edwin Sampson of Sampson’s Wharf.
She is survived by her daughter Constance Clarke Dawson (Edward); her three grandchildren, Carlyle Dawson (Kirsten), Christie Harding (Emerson) and Shannon Smith (Bill); her great-grandchildren, Colie Haydon (Celina), Cassie Haydon (Dexter), Andrew Smith, Blake Smith, Blair Smith, Kaallie Dawson and Jack Dawson; and great-great grandson, Case Haydon.
Charlotte was born and raised in Sampson’s Wharf. She had a love for life and people and never met a stranger. Her passion was her family and working in her yard.
Charlotte is now reunited with her mother, father, sister and brothers and will live forever in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
Family and friends will have a private graveside service at Sampsons Wharf.
Currie Funeral Home LLC of Kilmarnock handled the arrangements.
