Chesapeake Academy field study revamped

The culminating inquiry in Chesapeake Academy’s science curriculum has long been a field study featuring a comparison of the estuaries of the Chesapeake Bay and the Florida Keys.

This curricular marine science thread, part of a vigorous traditional sequenced science program, capitalizes on the school’s proximity to the area’s rivers, creeks, and the Chesapeake Bay, reported head of school Julianne T. Duvall.
