Chesapeake Bank, a Kilmarnock-based community bank with locations throughout Virginia, has been ranked #15 in the nation and #1 in Virginia by the Best Banks to Work For program, which was initiated in 2013 by American Banker and Best Companies Group.
This is American Banker’s ninth annual ranking of the Best Banks to Work For and 90 banks earned a spot on the list. The program identifies, recognizes and honors U.S. banks for outstanding employee satisfaction.
In 2020, Chesapeake Bank was ranked #24 in the nation and #1 in Virginia. Chesapeake Bank has made the Best Banks to Work For list for all nine years since the ranking program began in 2013.
