Christchurch head of school Billy Coyle and co-curriculars director John Dehm recently announced all-state honorees for the fall season. 
The Seahorses won the Virginia Independent School Football League (VISFL) Division I State Championship. Christchurch football coach Joel Jorgensen was named VISFL Division I Coach-of-the-Year, reported communications assistant Jennifer Homer.
Felix Koerner, the son of David and Lou Koerner of Venice, Fla., was named VISFL Division I Player-of-the-Year. He also was named to the VISFL All-State First Team as quarterback and athlete.
