The Christchurch School varsity soccer team won the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA) Division II State Soccer Championship Monday, November 11, at Segra Field in Leesburg.
The team finished the regular season ranked #1 in VISAA Division II. On Monday, November 4, they hosted the division quarterfinals, defeating Virginia Academy 2-0 to advance to the semifinals.
In a quick turnaround, the team then traveled to Segra Field for the semifinals, defeating #4-ranked Blue Ridge 3-1 to earn a championship berth.
