Christchurch School wins VISA Fall Team Racing Championship

The Christchurch School varsity sailing team recently sailed in the Virginia Interscholastic Sailing Association Fall Team Racing Championship at the Norfolk Yacht and Country Club.

The Seahorses won the championship and now qualify for the MidAtlantic Team Championship in November, reported Jennifer Homer.

The team is coached by Kieran O’Connell who is assisted by Peter Kempe and Rick Krogh.

Team captains are Boyd Bragg, the son of Camille and Bo Bragg of Irvington; Mariana Guzman, the daughter of Alejandra Casas and Hector Guzman of Mexico City, Mexico; and Benton Amthor, the son of Sarah and Douglas Amthor of Yorktown.
