Christchurch students travel to Senegal

Christchurch School Global Education Program students and chaperones tour Niognani Village.

Eighteen Christchurch School students recently traveled to Senegal during spring break from studies as part of the school’s Global Education Program.

As a community, Christchurch aspires to be aware of and actively engaged with the international community, reported Global Education director Aaron Alter. Global Education experiences are designed in-house using relationships with communities and knowledge of places to build a framework for valuable student-driven learning.

Destinations in recent years include India, Senegal, Guatemala, Spain and China.
