IRVINGTON—Christina R. Pergola, 81, of Irvington passed away on October 21, 2019.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Pergola Jr.; her daughter, Grace Ann Pergola; and her sister, Linda Longo Marino (Dennis); and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Pergola; her parents, Gene and Grace Longo; and two sisters, Florence Casini and Victoria Jean Longo.
A mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 25, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Kilmarnock. Interment will take place at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi, N.J. Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, October 24, at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bay Aging, PO Box 610, Urbanna, VA 23175, to be used for those who cannot afford in-home care.
The family would like to give special thanks to her ombudsman, Lisa Walker, for her support and care and to her loving caregivers and to Hospice of Virginia.
