Circuit Breakers go five matches in FIRST Virginia State Championship

The Lancaster High School Circuit Breakers finished 13th among 26 teams in The For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) Tech Challenge Virginia State Championship on February 24, 2018.

“We  had a potential to get to the final round until the fifth match when our robot phones and expansion hub didn’t communicate to each other and stopped working all together,” said captain Roman Cutler.

“According to Mr. James Koca, who is a long-time volunteer of The FIRST Robotics, only four teams who were in the first year of the FIRST Tech Challenge went to the Virginia State Championship. This included the LHS Circuit Breakers and LMS Robot Warriors,” said co-founder and coach Jessica Cutler…
