Claybrook Baptist Church, 2242 Weems Road, Weems will hold its annual Veterans Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 11.
Claybrook Baptist Church invites the community to come and join church members in this Veterans Day service to remember and celebrate all who have served and are currently serving in the U.S. military, reported Genny Chase.
Retired U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Bert Chase and Phillip Abbott have organized this year’s Veterans Day special event, she said.
Lieutenant Elizabeth Kellum of the U.S. Naval Reserve will be the keynote speaker. Lt. Kellum received a bachelors in marine engineering from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in New York and graduated with a commission in the U.S. Naval Reserve.
